Rounds, Mary D. and Dean L.

The Rounds lived in Maine before moving to the Kenai Peninsula in 1946. They homesteaded in 1957 in Nikiski. Family occupations have included serving as secretary at Nikiski Elementary, fishing, working for U.S. Customs, piloting in the U.S. Air Force, and employment as a biochemist, entomologist and civil engineer. 

The couple’s children are Daniel, Eric, Steven and Peter.
