Melvin Clarence Carlson

Melvin C. Carlson was born in 1906.


In 1961, Melvin was living in the Kenai Borough when he was working for the Dept. of Public Works, Division of Highways, and qualified as an explosives handler. That year he completed first aid training. 


Melvin married Berneice Berton Russell on July 4, 1958 in Soldotna, Alaska. Berneice was from Washington state and was working as a telephone operator when they married.


Melvin and his wife Berneice are buried in the McGahan Cemetery in Nikiski.
